Arinto, traditionally also known as Pedernã in the Vinho Verde region, is a 100% Portuguese grape. It produces fresh and vivacious wines and, in the case of Covela Arinto, a purity and an enviable structure resulting from the strong sunshine in this sub-region of Baião, overlooking the Douro river. A wine with excellent ageing potential. Vegan. Covela practises organic farming and is certified by KIWA-Sativa.
Organic farming. Hand-harvest, organized plot-by-plot to ensure optimal picking Transport in small boxes to avoid crushing. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel vats. Fining, when necessary, with bentonite. No use of enzymes. Light filtration. Vegan.
